MacAllan Ridge is situated at what could be described as the proverbial “best of both worlds.” While the resort enjoys a quiet, beautiful Smoky Mountain setting, it’s also easily accessible and highly convenient for guests.
MacAllan Ridge is located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, which is within a days drive of half the population of the United States. Nestled in the side of Pine Mountain, in the shadow of Cove and Bluff Mountains, the resort is located just 1/2 mile off of Wears Valley Road (US Highway 321) along the eastern boundary of Lost Branch Road. Wears Valley Road (US HWY 321) is a predominately four-lane roadway that’s referred to by locals as “the quiet side of the Smokies.” This route is a major convenience for guests, because they will be able to avoid traffic from the conventional gateways that average 120,000 cars a day.
Wears Valley Road is only 35 miles from McGhee Tyson International Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee and 45 miles from Interstate 40 in West Knoxville.
The resort is a short 2.5-mile drive to the Dolly Parton Parkway, near Pigeon Forge’s bountiful shopping and entertainment venues.
